Nydelig Søndag i Schenectady

Her skal vi spille konsert i dag: I Memorial Chapel i Schenectady, New York.

Memorial Chapel

 Det er strålende sol og vi har hatt en drøy 3 timers busstur fra Manhattan, 
langs Hudson river nordover. 

Nå er vi ankommet, tatt veldig godt i mot og blitt servert deilig lunsjmat. Klokken 15.00 lokal tid spiller vi konsert, med det samme programmet som skal spilles i Carnegie Hall på onsdag. Det blir bra å få en god gjennomkjøring!

Vi syns de hadde laget et fint program for oss!

We´ve just finished the first whole day in New York. Well, quite a full day actually. 

Shopping, walking, rehearsing - oh and a concert - just in case you thought I was on a trip to NY. 

The concert was an "informal". concert...... It's funny how these little concerts become important! "oh it's just in the Norwegian seaman's church". Oh yeah! All concerts are equal - but some are more equal than others.  You set  yourself up to have a run through and then TV cameras appear !!

No problem, we are professionals.
